This durable tote introduces and defines the EVERYDAY pattern as
a contemporary interpretation of Central African textiles. The concept derived from my research on the uncommonly known history of Indigo plantations in S. Carolina during 1747-1800. Majority of the experienced cultivators of the Indigo plant that worked these harsh fields came from Angola. Symbolism and storytelling is a key factor in African textiles. I want people to feel inspired every time they see this design. Knowing that everyday in a big or small way you are making history and making a difference.
